I have AHCCCS , Maricopa Health Plan as my health insurance

I am wondering if they ever approve any kind of weight loss surgery?

I notice that some people have gotten the surgery with AHCCCS APIPA

what is the difference between APIPA and MHP?

Honestly  call them and ask. They will  give you all the info you need if they cover it, They will also have a list of surgeons.  Just make sure to ask what types of procedures they cover and what rheir requirenebs are.

if they dont .. aks if there is an override option .

Are you considering a first time surgery or a revision? I am curious because I noticed that you have Blackstone down as your surgeon. Of course you could be asking because you know someone else that needs/wants surgery in which case my question is sort of moot.
Whatever you do is it truthful, necessary and kind?

first time surgery, Blackstone was my initial surgeon of choice, but since my insurance changed, she isn't anymore because she doesnt accept AHCCCS
