SLEEVE APPROVAL FROM CIGNA HMO- ANYONE???

HAS ANYONE IS AZ THAT HAS CIGNA HMO, HAD THE SLEEVE AND HAD IT APPROVED BY MEDICAL NECESSITY???

I do not have Cigna but am in the process of revising my band to a sleeve.  I was told by the doctors office that most insurance companies consider the VSG "investigational".  I was told that UHC has paid for it. 
My new insurance has an exclusion for all WLS!  Which really makes me mad since I need my band removed now!  I am hoping the insurance will pay for the band removal so I just need to pay for the sleeve.
I would call the insurance company directly and see what they say.

I haven't seen it but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.  Have you posted this on the sleeve board?

From your last thread I thought you already had a sleeve.  They rock!  They are just fantastic.
