a WOW moment
I had to spend the long weekend in the hospital. My left leg decided to get cellulitis without consulting me. For the first 2 days I wore plus size hospital gowns-the really big ones I used to have to wear but on day 3, they ran out on the floor. I thought I'd try one of the regular and could wear one on the back for TBC (total butt coverage). To my amazement-the regular size fit!!! I was not completely confident with the TBC, but there were several inches of overlap and I was thrilled! I wore a seclnd "gown" like a cape whrn I took walks.
I have to keep remembering I'm not as large as i used to be and to celebrate that and change my mindset.
Anyway, they sent me home with a PICC line for hopefully only 2 weeks.

Bummer about the cellulitis. High Fives on the covering of the skinny fanny with a regular sized gown! ...... Take care and let us know how you're doing!

What a nice feeling that your gown was to big. That is a definite WOW moment to me. How did you get cellulitis in your leg ? I had cellulite in my leg plenty of time. Thank god for the PICC lines. I had a Medi Port for about 1 year but that was chronically infected and every time I would see the doctor it never looked infected. But after 1 swab it grew out junk big time. I like when you can get lab out of a Medi Port and IV's at the same time. I hope your feeling better...
