First GRADS support gathering!

Wow!  We'll have to hunt for a larger room!  We had such a GREAT turnout with around 20 graduates from all different programs.  We had sleeves and Rny's represented and would absolutely welcome lapbands and Ds'ers as well!

We took some time on introductions and shared some of the reasons we each wanted to have support groups in our lives; even at our "graduate" stage of the journey!  We identified some of our individual changes we'd like to each make and visited about how we'd tackle those changes.  We committed to selecting just ONE small change and will report on the AZ Grads of WLS O.H. Group site to one another.

We talked about upcoming meetings and fitness goals.  Many will be getting together for hiking, walking and preparing for marathons and a Grand Canyon hike.  We discussed the possibility of charing the Walk from Obesity in the fall.

We were an inspiring bunch who all seem focused on making a lifetime commitment to health and positive daily choices! 

Weigh 2 go AZ Grads!!!! Together we will make a difference in our own lives and pay it forward in helping others!

The AZ Grads of WLS is open to everyone and is not program based.  Guests may come with a member of the group.  We meet the 1st Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm at the Bridges Phoenix St Luke's Education facility.
