So I am sitting here at 8 months out, down 105.5 since surgery, down from a size 24 to a size 8, only 17 pounds from goal and feeling fantastic!!  Therefore I thought I would share in the form of pictures, I never really see the difference until I take a look at those before and after photos.

Taken 1 year before surgery when I started this whole process:

8 months out:
3  1/2 Marathons down!!! Getting ready to try a marathon!
Day of surgery - 252.5 Highest weight - 269 Goal weight - 134, reached!!

An amazing change Becky !,

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and in this case its true.

I agree about the before and after photos. I am glad I took several before and have been taking them as I go along on the journey. I feel so much better but the the pictures really show the progress I have made. I think many of us still see the "fat person" looking back at us when we look in the mirror but it seems "different" somehow with the pictures.

Congrats on your progress!.
