So I go for an Upper GI on Friday it was requested by Dr S to see if there are any perhaps staple reputures from my original surgery.   I remember going through the entire initial waiting game and medical visit after medical visit and it took over a year to get approved by my old insurance.

Has anyone had any expereince with a new insurance policy, so not the original one that did your first surgery, where the benefits are "one per Lifetime"?  I have called my insurance about this trying to inquire what that means.  Does it mean "one per the lifetime of that insurance policy" or one per my personal lifetime?  I have worked in the healthcare and insurance billing industry for over ten years but this one has me stumped.  LOL

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Dont stress on this  Jenn in hte office is awesome at getting approvals, Plus you need to wait to see what your results are. My approval with Aetna went pretty good - they turned me down the first time and then approved with a 2nd letter.

2009  is going to be your year .
