low carb help?

So, all you protein addicts/low carbers.......When you are in ketosis, do you have a metallic taste?

Any taste?  Any specific side effects? ...............Feeling like my body is a science experiment and I want to win the prize; not blow it! 

When I did the Atkins diet, I found that the breath was bad.  Lot's of breath mints.

Food tasted the same without any metallic taste or aftertaste.

I do the South Beach diet, and yes I do get that metallic taste in my mouth alot. I do have issue sometime with upset stomach too.  Wish that particular side effect would go away but hasn't yet.
