Jeanna, Dawn and I just smiled a lot while others were snapping pictures.  The ONLY picture I took was with my lame cell phone.  It was of Bette Sue at the Halloween party.  She came in her hospital gown fresh from surgery with Dr. Mazaheri!!!  She actually had her tummy done the week before but she still had her drains!!!  Silly girl!  She was in a wheelchair and all decked out for the party with a sign claiming Dr. Mazaheri as her fab surgeon!  She tucked her drains in her bra while she presented on stage the next day!  LOL!  Gotta love our Bette Sue!!!  She ROCKS!!

I'm hoping that O.H. posts the zillions of pictures that were taken.  ....  One of these days I'll get into the  camera mode.  My FAT brain still runs from the very idea of a camera!!!

I just noticed that meltingmama has posted photos, but I can't see them here at work.

I know what you mean about the "Fat" brain.  I still have a little problem with photo taking, but I am getting better.

Hi and a million thanks to all of you who attended the LA event last weekend.  I had a great time meeting you and making new friends.  I also had a fantastic time planning this with Joanna.  I just love Chef Martin at the Kyoto...I want to take him to every event!  No matter what I needed for the banquet, it was graciously provided.  All of his staff was quick to please.

I want to thank our OH support group leaders for pumping up this event, all of our OH staff and our IT support. We could not have done it without them all.

It goes without saying that we sincerely appreciate Eric Klein for his vision and for caring so much.

In my book, you're all wonderful!

1) Ok, I agree that Eggface and Meltingmama rock... Can I say that Click Coffee never tasted so good?
2) The food there was way to good, wish I could actually eat more of it then the couple bites I had.  Was glad I sat at the table with people who left lots of food on their plates also.
3) Costume parties sure let people show off their "naughtier" sides.  Never saw so many devils in one area before.
4) Casino Night: It was fun to spend someone elses money.  I let the oldtimers (Post op wise) do the dancing.
5) Forgetting what I was smart enough to do, I also went to Zumba the next day.  It was FUN!!!! And I stayed for the whole seesion.  I am still recovering. Could barely even move my arms yesterday.
6) Yeah the Hollywood guy was cool, my favorite was still the cooking demo.  Did I mention that their coffee was good? (And I don't like coffee).
7) Wish there were less PS people and more of some of the other speakers.  I am still a year or more out from even considering any more surgery.  I would rather of had more speakers like Jeremy who focused on exercise for bariatric patients. And the differences between us and those who never had the surgery.
8) The weekend rocked!

PS. Had my phone camera along and kept forgetting to take pictures.
