heperion

Hello I had a roux en y on 9/08/08. Approximatel five days after surgery I developed 8 circular rashes across the bottom of my stomach.  I waited a week figure it was just bruising they just itched.  I went to my surgeons office spoke with nurse practictioner.  She thought it might an allergic reaction to the heperion shots but did not seem super confident.  They advised me to put hydrocortzone cream on it.   The rash is still there.  I saw the surgeon on tuesday he said just  to just keep putting the cream on it.  Has any one else had problems with herperion injections?  I am thinking of seeing a dermatologist

      Can I make a suggestion ... Ask your Pharmacist - they  are so good at knowing  all the reactions and how to counteract them ...

As always - keep area  clean and dry ..  Heprin  is a blood thinner that helps us  to not get bloof clots ...  we dont want those !.
