I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Preferred.  Its a PPO and it is covered without 6 months on diet required.  Has a $1000 Access Fee besides deductibles tho.  I got approved in 8 days.

It is a $1000 Benefit Access Fee.  Basically they cover it but to access the benefit you have to pay the $1000 and it doesn't count towards meeting your deductibles or your insurance maximums.

But because I was in a serious accident in May I have already met all my deducitbles and maximums so the surgery will cost me the $1000 plus my office co pays.

20 days to go. Wooot! super excited.

Wow !  thats a new twist & turn for me..   I was afraid  Scottsdale Bariatric started their famous  Program fee again
