Maine to AZ for Revision

I will be traveling from Maine to Phoenix for a revsiion with Dr. S on 10/30. I'm stressing out about getting the rental car back to the Phoenix airport then getting to Flagstaff to catch the Amtrak home.  I posted this on the revision board as well but I thought I'd ask here as well. Any locals have any thoughts?  Thanks in advance for any info.
