Phoenix Event

I am writing this post with heavy heart and troubled mind.. I want to apologize to all the people that were going to attend the Phoenix event to hear my story.. Due to financial reasons I will not be able to attend.. I know I don't owe you all an explanation but I feel I must tell you all..

After my brother was murdered, I adopted his three kids, the youngest just started his second year of college, at Texas Tech University, and has run into some issues getting his scholarship money and needed books.. I could not see myself spending money that would be used to buy him books on a trip.. I do apologize and I hope that you all will please attend the conference and have a great time and be inspired..

 

 I'm so sorry you won't be able to attend but I totally understand and there is no apology necessary.  We all have committments that interfere with our plans sometimes.

I was soooooooo looking forward to meeting you and hearing your inspiring story!!!  .....  O.H. asked me to fill your time slot since you were uanble to make it.....though I could certainly NEVER fill your "shoes"...so to speak!  Making a decision to benefit your family is ALWAYS the right thing to do!  You sound like an amazing human being!!!  Best wishes to you and perhaps we'll get you out this way next year!!!!

I'll do "me best" to motivate in your absence......I'm usually good for at least a few good laughs if nothing else!!!  I'll have some fabulous wls grads to help me out sooooooo everyone will defintely get a chance to "fill" their cups full of inspiration!

Ramon, no need to apologize.  Yes, we will really miss you and miss hearing your motivational speech BUT what you are doing for your brothers kids is far better for them than spending the money coming to see us.  You are my motivation and I know how the financials can get in the way.  I'm sure we'll all be seeing and hearing you in the future.
