docs that do fills/

Hi.   I can not find a doctor that takes Medicare at a hospital that takes medicare and does not require a cardio eval.  My pcp is at the Indian hospital.  They have a cardiologist that comes once a month so a pre-op eval for elective surgery is almost an impossibility to get.

Therefore, I am thinking of flying over to Las Vegas where the doc only requires an EKG along with the other tests (I have them all done).  But I will need a place in Phoenix to get fills.   Anyone know of where I can do that?

Bette, all I can tell you is to call around.  When moving here from MI, I found that most doctors don't want to touch someone else's patient.  That really surprised me because my surgeon in Grand Rapids stressed aftercare but that seems not to be the case with some bariatric surgeons here in AZ.  I did find one to take me but I'm RNY.  I don't know if he'd do the fills.  Call Jen at Dr. Schlesinger's and ask her.
