Having a Bad Day

This morning I had to call Joe home from work.  One of my drains had leaked all over me.  Then when he was trying to drain it and clean me up I almost passed out on him.  (again).  I have a rash all over my body so I called and am going to try Benadryl.  I have to increase my fluids and iron intake and it the rash is not better tomorrow we have to drive to Phoenix so they can look at me and possibly test me for anemia.  All in all, I'm having a bad day.  I'm waiting for Joe to get home from Target with some Benadryl and then he is going to bathe me.

Hi...I am sorry you are having a bad day. Sometimes with these surgeries we just have to have a day like this even tho we do not want one.  Also I realized just how much I needed some one with me...DH..when I was recouping from my RNY.  He has had 6 heart attacks and I have had major surgery more than onec and did fine. But this seems different and I still depend on him when I am having bad tummy days ;-)  You will feel so much better when he is there and you are clean and have your Benedryl. I will pray that it works and the rash is better and you do not need to go to Phoenix. I pray your afternoon is much better than your morning. I have been wondering if I am brave enough to have plastics when the time comes.

ooh huney.  Sorry you are so miserable.  Let us know when you feel better so we can all stop worrying about you. 

I just got up from my nap and saw that the two of you posted such encouraging words.  I have very little pain so if it wasn't for the extreme weakness and itchy ra**** wouldn't be so bad.  I just don't think at this point there will be anymore plastics for this girly.

Im sooooooo sorry you've had an "Eyore" kind of blustery, no good, rotten, kind of day!!!!!  I promise I won't tell you it will get better cuz when you're having one of "those days" then you may just want to smack someone who says that kind of "tupid tuff"!!!!   .......  Soooooo.......I'll just send cyber huggggzzzz your way and hope that it's all uphill for you from here!!!!  The amount of surgery you had was HUGE so just rent a few DVD comedy's and hold a little pillow tight and let yourself laugh a bit!!!  ........Move around and drink drink drink!!!  .......I'm bout to head to the airport so will catch up with you on Monday!!!!  Take care of YOU!!!!

Hi Becky: I'm so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. It has to get better. But tell me what did you have done? I'm at the stage where I'm thinking of getting a little nip or tuck. But after reading your post I may have second thoughts.
I really hope your day gets better. I'm glad you have a loved one to help you.

Hi Pam,

I had brachioplasty, LBL, Panni, Fleur de lis and Pubic Plasty done.  I think maybe it was too much at one time for this 55 yo.  I have little pain, but had to see Dr. Gitt again today for the rash.  I am allergic to my pain meds.  I would suggest if you are going to have an LBL to just do that and nothing else.  Do the rest in stages.
