My date is July 14!

Well I am now being told that July 14 is my surgery date.  I am very happy and worried at the same time.  Tues I am going to St. Luke's for a Pre-Op class.  I just need St. Lukes to call to setup an appointment for my pre-op test.  I can not believe how fast this is now moving.  My wife and I have been trying for year and a 1/2 now to get this done.  We are trying to find out about if I need to go on a liquid diet soon. What was else can I expect now?

My date is July 9th.  I am on a two week liquid diet but all docs are different on that.  I just did a preop with Dr. S and got all my expectations and presciptions.  Then it is just wait and be hungry.  At least that is how it has been for me.
