Pnuemonia, esophagus, lapband troubles

I was diagnosed with pnuemonia at the beginning of April.  I have had lapband surgery.  Part of the cause was that food was backing up in my esophagus and then leaking into my lungs causing me problems.  I am now sleeping sitting up, watching the amount I eat and the times, and my liquid intake.  Has anyone else had this problem or anything similiar to it?  I am so tired of being sick that I am starting to have thoughts of having my lapband removed!  I don't want too, but I just want to get well.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Have you talked to Dr. Schlesinger?  I am sure he would give you good tips or good give you options to research.  You can go onto the revision website to see his ABC's of Revision posts.
