Hi Pam....sorry for your pain. Dr Blackstone removed mine b/c I already had a large stone the size of an walnut. Luckily I never had an attack. I hope your recovery goes well.  Take care, Erin

Ah, Pam!  I am so sorry for your pain, but I appreciate reading your story!  I am sorta in the same boat, in the sense that, they found a large amount of stones in my gallbladder when they did my pre-op testing.  After "talking" with many people here, if my doctor suggests it, I think I will  go ahead and let them take it out.  I think I would rather get it all over with, rather than risk having to have a second surgery -- AND -- suffer all the pain you have.
