Anyone from Sun City?

I just bought a house on N. Thunderbird and am wondering if anyone here is in the Sun City area.  I'll also be looking for a support group out there and I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Hi Anne,  I am not in Sun City but just a stone throws away. I live off peoria and 95th ave. I am pre-op and will be having my surgery on 9/4. Looks like you just moved here? Are you on the OFF board too? I did see something not that long ago on here about a westside support group but I am not sure where or when it is.

Thanks Jeanne.  Maybe I'll just have to start my own.  It won't be the first time and it's almost fun to do.

I'm doing good.  I'm looking forward to the move.  We'll start driving Nov. 1st and should be there by the 4th.  I'll also need to find a new bariatric surgeon to use for my yearly aftercare.  I'll try to get a referral here from my doc but I might need some recommendations from people out there.  We'll have to get together when I finally get there.
