Has anyone else had this test?

Friday I will have an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (they put a camera into the stomach to see what is going on there). I'm not thrilled about the test, but I've been in such pain for about a week that I need to find out what's the matter. If anyone has had this test, can you let me know of your experience and results?

Sounds like an endoscope. Have had 7 of them at least. They'll put you out so you won't remember anything. Results depend upon the reason it is being done.

Renee if it is just the normal endoscope we all go through it is absolutely nothing to worry about. The only bad part is getting the iv put in. Seriously. Don't even stress yourself. You will be in twilight sleep and likely wont even be aware of what is happening. You won't feel like your choking or anything like that. I say that because that was one of my concerns. It is nothing like that. You are completely relaxed, and you don't have a care in the world after they pump that good stuff in your iv.
