Childhood Obesity Walk

I was feeling inspired at the Domestic Violence Walk in Phoenix last Saturday! Does anyone know if there is a Obesity Prevention 5K Walk or a Childhood Obesity 5K Walk in Arizona? I can't find one. If not, I'm setting one up! Interest? Ideas? Comments? There are many events like this in other states. The money goes to YMCA memberships for kids, summer day camp fees for low income kids, sports programs in low income schools, nutrition programs and elementary P.E. programs.

At my place we have weight loss camp organised for children. Obese children go to there to learn about nutrition and exercises. i don't know whether we have camps for elders too.

Might be something, I went last year and thought it was O.K. - Could have been bigger, But was well run - they needed more involvement from surrounding companies and organizations.
