Weight Stall at 6 Weeks - Normal?

In my efforts to not become a scale addict, I made Sunday my day to weigh in for the week. I was a little disappointed this morning to find the scale hadn't budged since my last weigh-in. I took my measurements this morning, too, and compared them to my pre-op measurements and there are .5", 1", and 1.5" differences here and there. I guess I figured this early on I'd still be losing pretty steadily, but maybe not. Is this somewhat common? Nicole

Hi Nicole Stalling at about 6 to 8 weeks is VERY common. Don't sweat the small stuff. You will start dropping weight soon again. I had a stall and then checked the main forum board and found that it was a common occurance for many people. Just think about what you will look like in 12 months instead... Hey there, Doc! Phew! That makes me feel better. I'll stop worrying about it and keep on keepin' on. Thanks for the words of encouragement! Nicole
