Khaliah Ali- Inspirational Bander

Hi, All- I was reading an article in "Cutting Edge" which is a sewing magazine for modern and hip designs. The cover story this month is about Khaliah Ali. She is a designer and the daughter of Muhammed Ali. Khaliah lost 180 lbs after lap band loss surgery. Khaliah designs beautiful plus size clothing for Simplicity patterns. Due to her empathy as a bander and obesity survivor, she designes every item to be wearable with a 20lbs gain or loss. Khaliah is a beautiful multi-cultural woman inside and out.
