Lap Band on 03/12/07

I take three meds a day. I've been crushing them and trying to swollen them in some water. This is making me gag. What do you all do with any medication that you take that is not available in a liquid?

I cut my big pills (Gluchopage) up in quarters and swallowed them. That was how they gave them to me in the hospital post op. You can get a pill cutter at Walgreens. I hope that helps. Doc http://www.myspace.com/az411

I do the same, Doc. Crushing the pills tastes awful - at least splitting them up cuts down on any yucky taste! Hooray for pill cutters! Nicole

Use a pill cutter and try swallowing them when they are small. Otherwise put them in yogurt or some cottage cheese crushed.
