What's an Angel?

I'm relatively new to OH. Someone just asked me if I have an angel. What's an angel? Is it someone who supports you. My Mom is staying at the hospital with me when I have surgery on Monday and I have friends visiting. I have been getting the sweetest e-mails from sweethearts on OH sending me well wishes. Is that an angel? I think the support you all have given me is pretty angel like!!!!!!!!!! I'm really looking forward to coming to the support group at Chandler Regional to meet some of you : ) Any last minute advice for my Lap Band surgery on Monday (3-12-07)?
