HELP. I'm sick.

Here's my dilemma. My surgery is in 7 days, and I've come down with a horrible sinus infection. Has anyone had their surgery postponed because of something like this? I have my time off work arranged, my mom is flying in from Louisiana. It would be a disaster to reschedule. Of course, I have put an email in to my surgeon to see if I need to take some antibiotics now or something, but I just wanted y'alls ideas, suggestions, opinions, advice, sympathy. Thanks guys. Hi Stephanie, I had a stupid little bladder infection and my surgery was put off, but only for 3 days. The day before surgery is when they found it and they just put me on some really strong medication and then had my lap-band(aka my best friend!!) put it on that Friday. Just call your surgeon and tell them whats going on. With 7 day to get rid of it you should be ok. Good luck with the surgery. Terri Mully
