Im feeling too good to be only 8 days post op! My little incisions are almost completely healed. Im up and walking and almost back to life before surgery. I must remind myself that this was Major surgery and I Must take good care of me! At 6 days post op my weight was down 10 lbs. I was pleasently suprised! I havnt lost 10 lbs in a whole year! I go back to work on monday with the understanding that I will not lift more than 20 lbs and if I get really tired I will take a little nap. Thats the advantage of being the Office Manager. I havnt had pain meds for 2 days now. This surgery is such a blessing for me. I hope and pray that others are doing as well. Thank you everyone for all the support and well wishes you sent my way! Terrific Sally! I'm so happy that you are up and around and doing so well. The losses are fast and surprising at the stage you are right now. Enjoy them and know that you are so lucky! Hugs! Sheryl 320/220/170 Oct. 28th 2005

Sally, it is so good to hear you are doing well. I know what you mean about feeling too good to be 8 days post-op..I'm nine days and I'm doing great overall. Today was the first day I haven't had any pain meds and overall I am feeling great. I think the left side pain is finally going away. I am also about 10 lbs down. I have never in my life lost 10 lbs in a little over a week. I hope you continue to do well. Just be careful not to overdo. I have to keep reminding myself as well because I want to be out doing my normal routine and some things in my normal routine are strictly prohibited at this point (picking up heavy stuff). I agree that the surgery is a blessing. My diabetes is pretty much gone already.
