Hello Newbie Here

Hi all, My name is Effie and I had Gastric Sleeve done on the 27th February 2008 and feeling great. I did the optifast diet for 5 weeks prior to suregery and lost 7.5 kilos. I weighed myself 1 week post op and lost 4.5 kilos more !! So far I havent had any complications, I am following all my surgeons instructions and am going strong. For the first time in my life I feel fantastic and am very excited knowing that im going to be able to walk without feeling puffed out, I cant wait to sit on the floor and play with my daughter. Life has been very tough for me these last 4 years but im a fiesty girl and am pulling through it all. Please feel free to message me Regards Effie :-)

hi, and welcome, congratulations on your results, mine are alot slower as I have a lapband. I have only been coming here a few weeks but its a great site to find support and friends that understand. Jacqui
