Support group meeting for September (Sydney)

Hi Princess Kath,,,just found this site,,thank goodness. Am alone here in Perth , Western Australia . Had lapband op on Aug 4th, Dr did 1st fill on Sept 13th and took 1/2 out next day,,all reasonable now..please please do you know of a Perth group? I do not see Dr again for 10 weeks,,is this normal or is it just the Public Health System? take care,,,Carol

hi my name is jodi and i live in westfield and am currently waiting to have my first consult on the 29th sep 07 at fremantle hospital i have been reading anything i can about the lapband procedure but it is much eaier to understand when i read the forums as everyone is differant i just cant wait im nervous and afraid that he may so no i would gladly like to keep in touch if thats ok im also going through the public heath system it took ,me a year to get this appointment.
