WOW, that's a Republican even I can get behind! This reminds me of how I was pretty impressed by the Republicans who opposed Congress getting involved in the whole Schiavo thing earlier this year. They looked at the role of Congress, not the issue! It would be great if more of them would look more closely at their party's traditional principles and be more supportive of the separation of church and state.
