psoriatic arthritis and Humira
Hey guys.
I am still in the losing phase of my WL journey but recently my Dr wrote me a script for humira for my joint pain due to psoriatic arthritis. My question is.. anyone using it? Does it cause your weight loss to slow or make you gain weight? Anyone tell me of your experiences?

HW:260+ SW: 248 Pre-Preg 180 Post-Preg Starting Wt: 225 Current PP wt: 195 GW: 170ish.
humira did not affect my weight loss in any way, although unexplained weight loss is a known side effect, it also did nothing for my psoriatic arthritis. I am going to start simponi next week, since the enbrel has totaly stopped working for me,

RNY 10/14/08 LBL 6/14/11 135 pounds lost, after bounceback regain. And I am OK with that. It enabled me to have double hip double knee replacements in the 9 month periond between Oct 2011 and June 2012.
I have been successful with Enbrel for my PA for the past 5 years, and it doesn't effect my weight loss in any way.
