Why curcumin works for my RA

I'm recently diagnosed with RA after an awful flare that hospitalized me right after my DS.  I take Curcumin (needs to have piperine in too to work) and Coramega.  It makes a noticeable difference and I have NO other flares close to the first one after nine months and my pain is under control without Motrin.

I knew the Curcumin worked, but I just learned WHY it works.
