Psoriatic Arthritis

Gosh has it been almost a year already?? lol wow...! I have been trying to push through the pain and symptoms, the last I had a cortisone injection and he said if I wanted to be more aggressive in my treatment we can do that...but I am stubborn and a little scared because they all seem to be worse then what I am experiencing now. The PA has attacked my right knee and right hip more than any other parts as far as the arthritis, I am still getting the psoriasis on my feet and the back of my arms.

I'm thinking that maybe the diagnosis may be a little off because my mom was just diagnosed with Lupus that is attacking her skin, later on this can turn into full blown lupus, so I am scared that may be what is going on with me.

It seems that my joint problems and PA got worse the more weight I lost....thought that is was supposed to have the opposite effect! I have heard a lot of good things about the Embrel, but I am scared to try it. How often do you see your RA?
