This is the first time I've posted on this forum and I'm sure this question has been asked, but OH's search feature just sucks.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees and am nursing a cartilage tear in my right one.  I need to incorporate some exercise in to my pre-op plan and am wondering if anyone knew of some resources (DVDs, etc.) or exercises for those with my sort of issues.  I'm aware of working out in the pool and have in the past, but my access to anything other than my apt. complex pool is hindered by my finances.  Any help you could offer would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Have you ever tried sit and be fit?  it is a work out show (I think qvqilqble on DVD)  some times I can see it on OnDemand exercise channel.  It is really amed at older population but seems like it might be helpful.  I have been going to try it but ofcourse when I wnet to find it OnDemand it was no longer there.

If yiou find it on DVD - send me the location.  I would like to get a copy my self.

I posted a very similar question on the Main Board today.  I didn't know there was an arthritis forum!  Anyway, I got some really helpful advice from some wonderful people.  If you'd like, please check out my post called Exercise Dilemma.
I hope something works out for you!!  Good Luck Dear!
