Do you know if you did have the surgery you couldnt take inflamatory medications, cause I used
to take celebrex, The nurse told me i cant take it anymore,
DID YOU APPEAL IT?
Your doctor might recommend surgery to help you lose weight if you have a body mass index (BMI) of more than 40 or a BMI of 35 or more coupled with an obesity-related disease like type 2 diabetes, heart disease or sleep apnea

hey, i take meds that i am not able to take if i had the RnY too, so there other options; the VSG probably would work amazing for you since you are considered a lightweight when it comes to WLS. - also if you can get the doctor to state that if you lost the weigt then, less medications with be needed to treat your RA both now and in the future, that is a great reason for the insurance to reconsider!!!!Hope this helps
