Ultram???
What is your experience with Ultram??? I read something on the main board that concerned me about how it might cause pouch problems. My pcp has me on it for my arthritis pain and it is the only thing that has worked. I would hate to quit taking it, but I will if it does some kind of damage. Please respond asap because I see my pcp day after tomorrow (Wednesday). Thanks.
I have taken Ultram but only for short bursts as my pcp says it is addictive after 5-10 days. I take celebrex regularly and will add Ultram when things just flare up. I have an strange type of arthritis found in males over 85 and post menopasual women of scandinvian decent so I am not sure about the meds for other types. Good luck. PS I love Ultram and wish I could take it all of the time.
I take 300mg of Ultram ER everyday and have taken it for years. I used to take Celebrex and Lyrica along with the Ultram. Lyrica did nothing for me except make me stupid. After I read the recent studies on Celebrex I quit taking it after I had taken it for about 10years. I am not as comfortable with out it but the risks were just too much. I have tried Mobic and Arthrotec along with many others over the years and so far the most help was Cymbalta and Ultram ER. With the Ultram the extended release was the answer to the up and down pain levels.
From what I have been told and read if you have the Rny-ds you will not be able to take the pain and anti-inflamatory medications but with lap band and VSG medications are not a problem.
