Hi anyone that has had knee replacement in both knees at same time ? i well have mine done on the 27th of this mo ...Brenda in tx thank you
was 400+ june 15th,06,..now 145-150 as of may15th,09 ... wow!!!what a ride .

Girl was it hard to get up ? when did you get up ? what kind of exsirsize do you do ? i'm more scared of this then my wls ..lol... Brenda in tx

They get you out of the bed at the hospital the next day.  Some surgeons will get their patients up the same day if they are awake enough. They brought a walker into the room for me to use and helped me move from the bed to the chair for lunch and dinner.  I was "allowed" breakfast in bed every day.  They hooked me up to a CPM every day to help the knees bend.  After surgery, the thigh muscles don't want to work.  The surgeon told me the thighs are the last to "wake up". It was no picnic, but it gets better.
