Wow, Shengdangie, you handled that a lot more graciously than I would have. There certainly was a lot of ugliness in that post, but I believe it must be from someone who is bitter about not having the success that you and many other people have had. That's a shame. We should all be proud of eachother.
I, for one, am so glad that you posted that on here. I think that contrary to what someone may think, you know more about your body than ever before. The fact that you can live such a healthy life, having had bariatric surgery and now going back to normal anatomy is truly inspiring. For that I thank you.
I am on this message board because I am definitely regretting my wls, and I hope that you continue to post your "****" on here, as I love to hear amazing and inspiring stories like yours. The same goes for everyone else reading this...most of you are fantastic people, with the exception of maybe one, and I look forward to hearing more. We can all help eachother in one way or another and I am here to help as well as seek answers for many of my questions :-)
Sincerely,
Di

Topic: RE: Gastric Steeve
I had the gastric sleeve in December 09, and I am very happy with my results. I've lost 92lbs to date. I had no complications except dizziness from dehydration (but that was b/c I took the wrong medicines together and gave myself diarrhea. Once I figured that out, I was fine!) It has been a great experience and I do not regret it one bit. If you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a message.
Topic: Missing the weight?
I posted this in the gastric sleeve forum before realizing it would be better suited here. Has anyone ever lost all the weight and actually missed being fat or big? Do you know anyone like that? I know that's a strange question but I was wondering if realistically this has ever happened. Surely ONE person had it happen. It may be an emotional issue but I'm just curious.

I am just tired of people posting stupid **** for no reason except to promote their own pity party. Your nesceince knows no limits. If what you say is true it is because you whined so hard and long the doctor just caved into your demands. That is why they have psyc before surgery to weed your kind out. Some just manage to slip through. Don' t come on here and spread lies.

Wow that is a lot of ugliness there and really I don't have the time for that. If you don't want to hear what i had to say, you didn't have to come into the post. I do believe i posted on WLS Regrets. But you know what, life has been good to me lately and some anonymous person on a website is not going to bring me down.
I am sorry for whatever is going on in your life, that you need to respond the way you did, i hope things get better for you.
If you want to talk about the actual reversal will be more than happy to.

i would say the best habit i got into during the RNY was of course cutting out sugar and now i really still can't eat much sugar heavy items. I have been pretty good at either keeping sugar out of my diet or not overindulging in it. This has helped to lose a lot of weight. I also don't eat a lot of starchy foods because it is too heavy on my stomach. If i eat a piece of bread i pretty much can't eat anything else. I make a conscious effort to eat three times a day, at least. I do eat foods high in protein.
I never had trouble exercising before, but now i do exercises i enjoy doing instead of one's i feel the NEED to do. I don't like to run, so i swim. I am not big on gyms, so i do martial arts and dance.
Hurt my shoulder and couldn't exercise for 2 months and still able to maintain my weight loss by just taking into account what i eat.

i am sorry to hear about that. I know it is frustrating. 99% of my time was spent in one hopsital or another in 2009 it was draining (and i think made the whole situation worse). But yeah since my reversal i have continued to exercise (martial arts, dancing and swimming). I maintained at a while at 152 lbs (that is with eating sweets), but soon as i knock the sweets out, i start to loose again. Now i am at about 144-146 (i fluctuate).
Yeah, the whole it is in your head nope, that really pissed me off.
