Any Regrets??

Never I say! Hi to all. Yes I know this is a question of any regrets forum and I am here to say that NOPE...I have not one regret today. I just wanted to update myself since I have had WLS on March 2nd of this year. I have not had any regrets at all from having WLS. I get my EXERCISE {YES...my doctor said exercise exercise ...EXERCISE!!} in...I eat my protein like I need and get my water of course, and so far I just cant find a complaint. To this day I have lost 45 pounds since my surgery. I post this cause I was once told that if I havent walked in ones shoes that I should not post in them....well NOW i have walked that in those shoes I stand by my previous statements once again. Life is not always the grandest and we deal with what cards fate deals us. If you dont use them correctly of course you are gonna have regrets about anything in life...such as WLS. YOUR STOMACHE IS STILL SORE 2. YOU HAVE NO REAL DESIRES TO EAT 3. YOU COULD NOT EAT MUCH EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO. TRUST ME AND BELIEVE ME, THERE WILL COME A DAY WHEN YOU WILL HAVE A REGRET AND I BET YOU ALREADY HAVE, LIKE THE DAY AFTER SURGERY AND YOU WERE IN PAIN AND WAS LIKE "WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF" OH, YOU SAID IT WE ALL HAVE, JUST SOME OF US HAVE BALLS ENOUGH TO SAY IT AND OTHERS DO NOT. IF YOU NEVER HAVE ANY REGRETS, GOOD FOR YOU BABY, BUT HIT ME BACK IN ABOUT 2 TO 3 ,MONTHS BUT I AM SURE AS MUCH HELL AS YOU RAISED WITH ME, YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE THE BALLS TO ADMIT THAT YOU TOO HAVE ISSUES, PEACE AND BLESSINGS AND MUCH LOVE TO YOU...... the nerve of you to say the things you say. everyone has different experiences and yes, i'm a new post op, that has had my bump in the road already, but i don't regret my decision to attempt to have a better life. i think that your experiece is just that, it yours. i know numerous others and they will say the same thing, you have issues, and bumps and things that you have to overcome, you have to be willing to make a lifestyle change and accept that life as you knew it before will never be the same. but your attitude is astounding to me, to be be bossy, pushy and as negative as you are, you should be ashamed.

You know nothing about me and that is as far as i am going to go with you. Me and this lady had a bad past and she kicked me when I was down. If you think I am nasty then read my profile, go to my online support group and my non profit organization. Also check my bank statements on how many people have had surgery due to my bank account. Do your research PHAT DIVA, before you speak because you know NOTHING!!!!!!!

Oh please... Now-----I have never------KICKED you Lady A. I have only spoke my peace as well as you have spoke yours. I can't help you not liking what I have to say. I will speak my happiness on having this surgery when and where ever I want-nothing you can say to change my mind about it-We all have our own opionions and this is what this forum is for. If you can't talk nice using me in your statement then dont post on or about me. Your negativitity leaves alot less to be desired. I can see that there are others that are not happy about having this surgery...and that is fine. I can understand that too and that is nothing against them about it. You just want to continue to flame me cause I --unlike you--are happy with my results and have continued to be since I have last posted here. Greetings: I do have to agree with Phat Diva on this one. Lade A, I have skimmed your profile. It was negative and anxiety-ridden from the beginning. Yes, we are all nervous and anxious in the beginning. But as I read your profile, I thought, "Well, what is she having the surgery for?" The answer to that is cause you want to and you can and you are grown, just like everyone else here. The choice to do so is your and your alone...just like your experience. I appreciate you sharing your experiences, but they are just that, yours. My assessment is you were uncomfortable and unprepared with the emotional/mental aspects from the surgery results, which was the loss of your drug of choice...food and alcohol. Well, that is not the surgery, that is you and your issues. You are not alone. I have been in recovery for 10 years. We all have them. We do not have to lose weight to deal with them. I am fat and I stopped drinkin a long time ago. The surgery forced you to do so. You would not have been able to continue with your bad eating habits and drink alcohol with wls and live healthy. I think persons *****ad your posts should be aware of this. Your opinions are honest, but the source of them are not. Be honest about how you got where you are. This is really about your addiction. May God grant you ease with that. Ameen. Even if others end up with the same emotions that you have, it will derive from a different source. The core or the evolution of your path will always belong to you and only you. There are thousands of people who will have WLS, some successfully, and others not. The success of their surgeries is not based upon whether or not they lose weight or even live or die. The success of WLS is an internal one to be defined, and redefined, by each individual person. Nia
