Strongly Regret Lap-Band
I 100% agree with Bonnie D. I too am a nurse and I have taken care of probably 100's of pt's post-op wls. I have just a couple of things to say after reading all of that...Fills should ONLY be scheduled if you NEED it, and if you are vomiting and can't keep soft foods down...you don't need a fill. THERE IS NOT A PERSON ON THIS WEB SITE THAT WAS FORCED TO EAT...WE ALL DECIDED TO PUT THE FOOD IN OUR MOUTHS THAT MADE US THIS WAY!! I never accidently ate 6 cookies..or 3 pieces of chicken...lol. I know that there are underlying issues, we all have them and I truely wish I could just reach into the depths of all our souls and remove whatever pain we have that causes us to over eat. But the honest truth is...we ALL want to over eat. Our wls is just a tool, not a cure, and I think that is what some people are looking for. My last comment is for those people who have not decided on a type of surgery...You MUST check out the bad too...look on this site for the memorial page BEFORE making any decisions. Everyone needs to know the worst case senerio, not just the best. It really makes me sad to feel the pain of a person that feels trapped by his/her weight. Good Luck to us all...

hi hon if you feel thatstrongly why not have it reversed, it can be done, here in UK they can remove the band.
i,mpre op and have done research but i cannot comment on your personal probs,
only to say if your not happy they get it out of you hon.
i find on here most in general are happy, and on the memorial page its the RNY that folk die from.
I wish you well and hope your health improves, have you joined a support group in your area.
you would be much better knowing others are experiencing some of the probs, and how they have overcome them..
wishing u gd luck and prayers
love
