Jane, I am glade to here you got through it all O.K. I am considering WLS and have been approved by my insurance to go to an initial consultation. I am scheduled for Feb.28. So right now I am trying to do as much research on the pros and cons as I can. Mia is right, I have heard lots of success stories and not many that were not happy or who had complications. Do you know exactly what went wrong? Was it the sleeping pills or was it complications with the procedure its self? Did it have anything to do with other health issues you had prior to the surgery? I have been over weight since I hit puberty and I am now 32 and 324lb. I have a lot of back and knee problems and have had an abnormal minstrel cycle for about 9 years. I am excited about this opportunity but at the same time very nervous. Lately I am constantly on-line reading people's comments because I know that at the end of the day it is my decision that will determine the rest of my life. I am interested in hearing about the flip side were everything did not go smoothly. So that when I have my consultation I will be sure to ask all the right questions that my PCP could not answer. God Bless you, and I am glade to here your O.K.
