Up date, on 4/21/2013 2 more Heart attacks 1 while in IC U and 1 more stent..very low on potassium so my heart is weak.. I don't believe i will live long.. I am having the hardest time keeping up on my lab numbers its either too high calcium in my heart arteries clogging them or too low potassium in my body making my heart weak so I am having heart attacks one after another.. left and right.. the next one i may not be so lucky and survive it.Now I know why i regret this wls.. I would never recommend it to anyone.. Have heard too many horror stories from long term P Op's. My therapist told me she has a few clients who have regretted their wls....

I am so sorry to hear about your health issues. Are you having heart attacks because of calcium build up? I'm asking because I was watching a medical show not too long ago and the doc was talking about getting too much calcium and that it gets stored in your arteries if you are getting too much of it. I really hope that you find a doc that can help you get this under control. So sorry...
I am so sorry to hear about your heart condition and can understand how frustrating and unfair your situation seems to be. Maybe one thing to consider, is that WLS helped give you these 6 more years, where as without, the additional weight of your body may have had a negative toll on your heart even sooner. I'm sorry again for your situation and hope that the doctors can help you in some way.
