Regretting the DS

I want you to know, for a long time I was mom, daughter, and friend.
after this surgery
I am a woman
I am a customer
I am a person, worthy of love and affection
I can eat what I want
I can eat as much as I want
yes occassionally I get gas, or diaharea (use imodium), but I am only 6 months out
and I have lost 98 pound.
check how many revisions from rny to ds there are

I had my consult with Dr Husted about having the DS (will be a revision from stomach stapling from 1985) and I had been reading on these boards for months until I postponed it last year due to finances. Most everything I read encourages me to go forward. I am suprised he does it laproscopically tho - isnt that uncommon for a revision? I am glad I think tho I am going to keep reading here tho unti my time just to be sure. But I have been so depressed that I think I am doing it more DUE to depression & suicidal thoughts than worry about having them afterwards!!
