VSG Regrets?

:( Carbs do go down better than the good stuff. But they never said this trip would be easy!
This si the easiest surgery I've ever had, I recovered in such record times, sometimes I thought it was too damn good to be true! But it was and I'm thankful to GOD for making it possible and would do it over, over and over again if I had to!
Good luck to you, GOD bless and Merry Christmas :)
Hi...everyone!
I had the VSG surgery back in June 2009 and went from 280lbs to 220. I've lost the weight very fast the first 3 months, but find I'm only dropping about 1 to 2 lbs a week; which is just fine by me.
I believe the advantage I have is that I'm not experiencing any elasticity problems (no loose skin on stomach, arms or legs) or any nutritional issues. I have not experienced any dumping or lightheadedness.
Now, on the other hand, I know several people who had undergone the GB surgery, and have lost twice the weight I did -- without even trying. I only had 100lbs to loose and didn't want any malnutrition or flabby skin issues, so I choose the VSG procedure. However, if I had more weight to loose or felt poor eating habits may sabotage my weight lose success after surgery, I would have gone with GB.
Just my input…
