JUST WONDERING

I am just wondering if I did the right thing by having wls. I had my surgery in June, lost 50lbs and thats all I have lost. I have been at a stand still for two months. Haven't gained any weight but I haven't lost any either.I spoke to my nut and she said that she talked to my surgeon and they don't know why I am not able to loose any weight. The the nut said that you weren't that big to start with. Of course this was not the answer I was looking for. Before surgery I weighed 285, now I weigh 235. I work out 6 days a week, eat any where between 800-1000 calories. I am really watching my carbs and protein. I just don't know what else to do. I am looking for suggestions. I can't believe all this pain and suffering was for nothing.

I HAVE A DIET THAT YOU CAN SEE IF YOU CAN GET YOUR WEIGHT JUMP STARTED AGAIN. I HAD MY SURGERY BACK IN JULY AND I'M STILL LOSING.  HUG'S JEANNIE

I hate to butt into a post that isn't mine, but I would also like to see your diet Jeannie.  I had surgery in 03, and have gotten stuck at around 200 pounds.  I am 5'4 so you can see I'm in need of a jump :) Thanks, Belinda simali9702@yahoo.com

wow that would be a disappointment to me too only losing 50lbs when i had in mind over 100lbs is wht i wanted to lose.  good luck dear, i hope your plateau breaks soon.

Just curious if you've had any bloodwork? Could your thyroid be slow, or electrolyte imbalance?
