That is so wondeful. I love bengals. A woman that works for me , she and her veterinarian husband breed/show bengals. I am considering getting one myself, although I am a diehard traditional siamese girl.

Hi everyone!
I am an eventer from Chicago. I have a monster of a 17h Holsteiner and older paint gelding. Rode hunter/jumpers for years, then stopped riding when I had kids and got back into in about 9 years ago. We are doing primarily eventing now. Right now, my show schedule is on hold pending my surgery on May 11th. How long did it take you all to get back to riding after your surgery?

I am owned by a brown marble tabby Bengal cat. I am getting a second Bengal cat as soon as he's 12 weeks, from the same breeder. Curly, my current boy, is a rescue. To this day, he remains the only cat his breeder has had end up in rescue. She is giving me a kitten so that he has a playmate. He is 4. He will be 5 in September. I don't have pictures of the new boy yet.
But Curly is gorgeous. I fell in love with him the moment I set eyes on him at the shelter. I immediately paid for him, went to petsmart to purchase a carrier, and took him home within the hour. He's my beautiful tiger.

Thats alot of why I had surgery too..Is there any OLd Fat Women that still like to ride.. All you girls, look like your just out of school...But if you dont mind and old woman, I'm here to talk horse..ha ha This is my Spot, and I use his picture, cause he's a lot prettier than me..I'm 58 yo, and weighed 261, and I felt sorry for my horse..When I get on him, he grunts, then groans..I know you know what I'm talking about.. Then I got to where I couldnt even get on him, and my husband built me a set of steps to climb then just throw my leg over..That way when I sit down, he just did the grunt.. ha ha
I'm so glad there are horse people on here..I've tried to add some of you girls, but I dont think a person can get to many friends..And if I sit here and talk to you, That might be another lb. Spot doesnt have to carry..ha ha I use to raise horses, always had QH, till my husband got his back surgery, needed a rockin chair, so now we have Foxtrotters.. Spot is a Foxtrotter, but also a Spotted Saddle horse, and a great Rockin Chair...I raised him and his Mom, and His grandma. and I hope to raise some more..Not from him.. He's a gelding..almost 7.. Thats enought for now.. I told you I like to talk horse. Even if I dont know if anyone is listening. ha ha Hope to hear from some of you....

Old post, but I just had to reply - We have an American Bulldog - Hazel! She's the most fabulous doggie ever, wouldn't hurt a flea! It bums me out when people think she's a "pit bull" 'cuz you KNOW they're thinking negative things about pit bulls! The only way our Hazel would EVER hurt anyone would be to beat them silly with her tail!
