Topic: RE: Who has dogs? How big? How small?
Well lets see. There is Mishie (60lbs) and Trouble (50lbs) the english bullys. Then Ginger (10lbs) the shih tzu. Pebbles (2.5 lbs) the Yorkie and then we have a mutt puppy that currently has no name. Still thinking on that one. He will be the heaviest of the bunch as his daddy was a lab rottie mix and his momma a lab sheppard mix. Right now his nick name is Sir Poopsalot. LOL THey share a home with 3 kittens and 2 birds and a yard with 3 cats (one has 3 babies right now and is hiding out on our enclosed poorch). and 2 pot belly pigs. I'm a big advocate on spay neuters so my vet is gonna love me these coming months. .......wonder if he will give me a mulit cat (and one dog) discount?

We have 3 kittens in the house (I go from a friend) I have a stray living on my enclosed front porch that has 3 babies then my two outside cats that arrived as strays. One is a wild cat that took my 3 days to trap so he could go to the vet to be neutered. The kittens will go when they get older and the momma cat as soon as she's done feeding the new babies. But the newer bbies will probably go to new homes. I think 9 might get me divorced or broke with all the spay/neuters that need done.

I have two cats. My baby is my Maine Coon she is mine. I had her mom when I lived in New Hampshire. She got out and yup she came back pregant. She had two kittens. Saw a small litter, one multi (money)cat and the maine coon. The mother did not like the maine coon and tried to throw her out. I can home from work one day and the kitten was on the step to outside. She was cold so I put her back in with the mother and the mother took her out.
Now Rusty is her name was 1 week old and I raised her from that point on. The vet told me she would not make it. She is now 4 years old and still my baby. I just recently got another cat to the family. And boy was he a mistake. He is one troubled cat. Spooky is his name and he lives his name too. He has attached himself to my daughter. So no I can not get rid of him. So ya I guess you would say I am a cat lover too.

Hi Nilda,
I had a visit from a woman last year when I was in a skilled nursing facility post-op. She brought in a Chinese Crested and put him up on the bed with me. I petted and played with him for a while and then she said "Let's see if I can wind him up". She took him, set him down on the floor and took hold of his tail. Then she turned her hand around as if his tail were the crank on a very old car. When she let go of him, he started spinning in a circle. I laughed so hard. I was really needing a pick-me-up at that time and she and her little dog provided it.
I have 2 ****er Spaniels. It's a dog I always wanted when I was little and never had. When my ex-husband and I split up, I got a house so I could have dogs and went out and got Casey. She's a buff and white female. About 2 weeks later I got Bandit, who is a black male. I've never had any human kids, so these two are my babies. They're both 11 years old and starting to slow down a bit, since both have some arthritis. However, they still love to chase the squirrels in my back yard. I think my male still thinks he'll catch one some day, although he wouldn't have a clue what to do with one if he did catch it.
Topic: My Mutt Katie
Alot of people I know won't even look at a MUTT, if it wasn't expensive they won't even give it the time of day. I have had many kinds, expensive ones and mutts, and to tell you the truth , The MUTTS are the smartest ones yet. I love my Katie, she is a mix of Chinese Crest with Maltese, not the cutest thing in the world, but to me, she is a gift from God. I not only look good after my Gastric Surgery, I have my wonderful husand and Katie !!!! Katie is my little tail, she is the most wonderful, unselfish being I know...my daugther has since married and gone, my son lives with his dad for school reasons, so it's just Katie, hubby and I , and Katie to me, is my new BABY, she is 7 mos old
I got her when she was only 2 yes 2 weeks old, flea infested, I bottle fed her and she is the most precious thing, and very very sweet and intelligent.
My sis has a yorkie, (which I love very much) but she is not willing to let any other dog in her life, she is very selfish, unlike my Katie, is so willing to serve and be pampered and help others, she is just my joy.
I just wanted to shout to the world, that my Katie (the Mutt) is just perfect !

I love my cats, I have two adults and my female just had four, so six all together. My cats have been my saving grace more times than I care to mention. When I have no one to talk to or no one to cry to they are there and they love me just the same. I have always loved cats and dogs, but my furry feline friends are my passion. I would like to find someone who has this same interest and would like to share stories and emails with me. Thank you for listening.

We have a wonderful Rottweiler named Knuckles who is 16 months old and weighs about 100lbs. He has given me reason to get out and walk at least an hour every day no matter what the weather! He loves children (no, not to eat!) and is as gentle and friendly as any dog you have ever seen. He is a nut - especially when he runs around the back yard with a tire around his neck and a pickle bucket on his head! My other dog is "the boss" - Piper weighs 4 lb.13 oz and he is a Yorkshire "terrorist". He keeps the Rottie in line, as well as protecting my room from the evil cats who may desire to sleep upon the master's bed!
So, let's hear about your pets!
