Topic: RE: Schnauzers Rule
Just found this message board. I agree schnauzer's rule. At least they sure do at my house. I have 3, one silver and 2 salt and pepper. My silver just had 4 puppies last Monday. My salt and pepper female had her puppies 5 days early about 10 days ago and we lost them. She has been trying to steal a live puppy from the other female. I sold 21 puppies last year but won't have that many this year.

We have quite a menagary.1 Boxer my son named Galahad we got from a rescue. They told me if I didnt take him, they were going to put him down the next day.We immediately got in the car and went to see him.Neddless to say he had me at "hello".Then we have a JR terrier named Heidi we got from a puppy mill the state was closing down due to abuse. She really is awesome. When we went to get her, she didnt even look like a terrrier. She was filthy like she had never been bathed at 6months old.Again as soon as the lady showed her to me, she ran straight to my car and stood by the door like she was just waiting for me to get there.
Then my mother passed away 3 yrs ago and I got to keep her ****er spaniel.I drive a truck for a living and it just seemed like she was the perfect truck dog.She goes everywhere with me.And last but definitely not least, we got Buddy, a mix that looks like the Taco Bell dog woth floppy ears.He is so cute. But, of all them, Heidi, the JRterrier is the boss. She instigates all the meanness inthe house.I wouldnt trade any of them for the world. They are our babies.

I am from a family of Schnauzer lovers! I have an 8 year old salt and pepper male named Pepper (although he is rarely called that, we mostly call him Peetie Boy or Pepper Jack), my mom has a 4 year old silver male named Max, my aunt's 12 year old silver schnauzer named Fritz just passed away but they also have a 6 month old salt and pepper male named Guss (yes with 2 s's), and my grandma is on the waiting list to receive a female puppy. We love them, they are so cute, cuddly, and fun to be with. What kind do you have?

I have a 2 1/2 year old Rottie too. Her name is Rotten. She weighs about 100 lbs. She just had her second litter of puppies. Rotten is the best dog that we have ever had. She is so lovable and just a joy to have in our family. If you have one, send me a pic of Simba. My husband and I are always interested in looking at big Rotties.

I too grew up in the city. Sitting on the back porch on our 5 acres, I can't see another house and love it that way. You do have a zoo. But aren't they wonderful?

Hey, I was raised in NJ, just across the Hudson. Now we own 5 acres in south Texas.

Sound you had a good time. I use to raise sheep but could not get them sheered on a regular basis. Now I have almost a freek'n zoo. I love it. I was rasised in NYC and after 40+ years decided to do what I always wanted. Own a little farm. Have fun!

I truly have a farm at my house. Four horses, fifteen goats, twelve chickens, three cats, two Austrliaian cattle dogs, twenty fish, one bird four rabbitts, two guinea pigs and eleven hogs. A freek'n zoo. Not counting my twins Jason and Jasmine both are going to be three. I a stay at home dad 99% of the time but work as a nurse at our local hospital. I'm originaly from New York City. Three blocks away from the former World Trade Center. I would not trade this living for anything else in the world (maybe one million dollars and then I'll start all over again) I am post op and will be coming on my year anniversary May 19th. I have lost over 200 lbs. and am feeling better than ever. I am more happy that I extended my life span a few years so I can be with my kids.

Just came back from having my alpacas sheared. Now they look like pipe cleaners. They are so skinny! Several farms got together and we sheared 159 alpaca, 3 llama, and 1 angora goat. Fun weekend!

Your kitty was so loved and I'm sure he knew it. Now he's a kitty angel
I had my Marmelade cat put down because of thyroid. He was down to 3 pounds. He is buried in my backyard and I visit him. You'll always remember him. He was a lucky cat.
