Topic: PET STROLLER - My new exercise buddy ;-)
. . I bought a Pet Stroller online, figuring it would help me with my exercise - and I thought the cats would find it nice to get outside! I have three cats, and figure I can take them for walks after work. I brought the stroller home this afternoon, and Junior hopped right in it! He was my first test subject! We didn't travel very far, because it was only 60 degrees and kind of windy. He wasn't crazy about the wind gusts, so we only went about 1/2 block and turned around and came home. Except for the wind gusts, he really seemed to enjoy being outside. As the weather gets nicer, I'll take the other two out as well. There are photos on my website at www.geocities.com/thedawnofanewdayna I found the Pet Stroller at PetStreetMall.com for $84.99 - no tax and free shipping! It was easy to assemble, and even has cupholders for my water bottle, and even has a storage space below! Not sure what I'd put there (no need for a diaper bag, bottle, etc, lol) I researched several sites carrying this stroller, and this was the best deal I could find. I ordered it March 31st and it came today, with standard FREE shipping! I'm sure going to have fun with my boys this summer! Dayna

Topic: RE: Want to ride again....
I just rode my horse this weekend for the first time in 4 years. I started with five horses and have sold all but one and I couldn't have had a better time this weekend. I am thankful for the barn that I board at because they use my horse for lessons for small children and it keeps him in shape for me. Don't give up hope you will get back in the saddle again!

May God confort you and you are doing the right thing. I put my 19 year old dog to sleep about 8 years ago. We owe them a good death and to protect them from suffering. I miss my dog every day but the pain gets less and it is replaced by the memories of the good times. Sadie died at 11:11 and everytime I see that time I think of her.

Topic: New Puppy
I got a 6 month old miniature poodle puppy last Friday, and he is a joy. I can't believe how funny he is. He stands on his hind legs and begs. Getting him took the sting out of losing my job two weeks ago. Randi

Leslie- You are very welcome. I'm glad that your daughter is handling this difficult news fairly well and I know that a new puppy is a wonderful thing to look forward to. I have a 9 month old Akita pup that I am training for competitive obedience and she puts a smile on my face everyday(except when she's busy chewing something she's stolen from my daughter's room). Best wishes to you and your family. Phyllis

Phyllis - Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to me that you responded. It was a difficult decision for sure, but our vet handled everything so compassionately. We told our daughter this week about the loss of her dog and she is doing fairly well. I know a new puppy will be in our future when she is better. There is nothing like the joy of a new puppy to bring a smile to your face! Leslie
