Topic: RE: YORKIE WANTED FOR DISABLED FATHER :help:
Try contacting breeders off of the Yorkie Club of America Website, I show and breed Miniature Pinschers and know that most of the people I show with will place a retired show dog for free if it is to a good home.
Good Luck!

Topic: RE: Lost my beloved Boston Terrier
Hi! I just got on the animal board for the first time. So sorry for your loss. I am still hurting after my beloved Sheba Dooo died in November, 2005. She was so much to me. I have two other Bostons, Abby Rose, who is a lot like Sheba in personality! and Bosley, who is a sweet boy (except around cats - he LOATHES our barn cats!) We have two other dogs, Barkley, a Great Pyrenees/Newfoundland mix and Spirit, our newest, who is a Bassett, Chocolate Lab mix. The latter two were rescues. I found Abby in an internet search, in Tulsa, OK area for $150. She is 33# about twice the size of Bosley. I like the smaller Boston, but Abby is my heart. You may want to check the rescues out there if you don't have another doggie. I am sure there are Boston rescues out there. Take care! Hugs, LaNeta

My mom is wanting to get my disabled dad a yorkie for companignship. He has lost both legs to diabeates and is homebound. A small friend would help him get back some of his dignity, because he'd have to get up and take care of his new friend.
If anyone could help please leave me either an email or leave me a comment on my OH page. [email protected], [email protected], lorriv (OH)
Thank all of you. God bless you all. You are all

Topic: RE: difference between akc and aca
HI! AKC is a little more strict and a more well respected registery you might say. I am a breeder of miniature schnauzers and I only use AKC because they have strict guidelines that I HAVE to follow whereas other registeries do not. Thats not to say you didnt get a great little baby thats just the typical difference in the two. Your more legit breeders usually go with AKC whereas more puppy millers use other registeries. Long as people are careful and SEE where their new baby comes from and be sure its not a puppy mill, thats the most important part!

Topic: RE: Puppys are digging!
Hello! This is going to sounds kinda strange, but I am assured that it works. A friend of mine does animal rescue and between her and her neighbor, they have a total of 17 dogs. She swears this works: When they did a hole, mix dog poop in with the dirt and cover the hole back. The scent of another dog will deter them from digging. You may have to do this a few times, but she says they will stop digging. With that many dogs, I am sure she knows something about it
Let me know if it helps!
Take care!
Kim
