ANYONE GOING TO SCHOOL FOR VET TECH AT WCCCD?

I HAVE TILL SATURDAY TO REGISTER FOR SCHOOL AT WCCCD AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH THE VET TECH CLASSES ARE. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS GOING TO SCHOOL OR HAVE ALREADY GONE TO SCHOOL FOR THIS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAD TO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR THE CLASSES AND HOW MUCH IT WAS.

Hi Krista, I've been contemplating about going to school to become a vet tech too. I'm just not sure if I can handle it (shots, blood etc) I simply love animals, but just not sure if I'm cut out to do that kind of work. What school are you thinking about applying/attending at? The schools I've looked into have different tuition fees and also depends if you qualify for any kind of assistance too. Good luck!! Deanna

I went for a interview at Nova Vet in medina,ohio for vet asst. position. The dr had all of us lined up in her operating room, and were able to watch her perform surgery on a yellow lab. Neatest thing I ever experienced. My point is as a vet tech you maybe asked to put your hands inside the animal while the dr is operating . Also you can close as a Certified Vet. Tech. fyi.
